Timothy M. Waurishuk, age 63, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, after battling a brief but fierce illness. A longtime resident of Greenwich, CT, he retired to Conway, SC in 2015 after working many years for Cummings & Lockwood and BMW. Tim was one of six children born to the late Dorothy and James Waurishuk.
Tim had a true passion for motorcycles from a very early age. In his youth, he loved motocross and racing his dirt bikes. As he matured, his interests transitioned to the collection and restoration of vintage motorcycles which involves a blend of mechanical skill, historic appreciation and patience. Whether riding or restoring, he had a natural talent and won numerous awards for his efforts. His love of riding was lifelong as he spent his days in sunny SC on long rides on one of his many pristine bikes.
Timmy was a good neighbor and took great pride in his home and enjoyed his final years near the Grand Strand. Along with his many nieces and nephews, he is loved and will be missed by his brothers and sister: Jim (Debbie), John (Laura), Tom (Patty), Stacey (Darrin), and Keith (Kelly). Timmy was a kind, thoughtful soul who enjoyed the simple things in life and left the earth a better place than he found it. In lieu of services and in his memory, his family respectfully asks that you donate to a charity of your choice.
