Wade Hampton Free III, 71, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away at his home Wednesday January 8, 2025.

Wade was born September 18, 1953, in Anderson Indiana, to the late Wade and Mary (McNeely) Free Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 4 years Kathy Free, step children Ashley Brooks, Jonathan (Ashley) Brooks, and Kevin (Julie) Bournique, along with 9 grandchildren, his two brothers Daniel (Cindy) Free & Alan (Holly) Free. Along with his parents Wade was predeceased by a stepson Damien Brooks.

Wade was an avid golfer, he attended the Indianapolis 500 yearly, he was a fan of Purdue basketball and his beloved Indianapolis Colts, but nothing came close to spending time and making memories with his wife Kathy. Wade will be deeply missed by his family and those that were honored to call him a friend.

Cremation Services Direct of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the  arrangements.
