Waltraud “Wally” Paugh, 71, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on June 13, 1954, in Hanau, Germany, and proudly became a United States citizen in 1990.

Wally retired from a career in banking and found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved family and her cherished dogs and cats. She loved taking long walks through her community and along the beach, where she found peace in the beauty of the ocean.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Paugh; her daughter, Viola; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Linda; and her three grandchildren, Casey, Savannah, and Samuel, all of whom she adored deeply.

Wally was preceded in death by her granddaughter, DallasMaree; her stepdaughter, Judith Kidwell; and her son, Patrick.

She will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and the quiet strength she showed throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
