Wayne Anthony Van Der Plaats, 72, of Conway, SC, passed away October 22, 2023, at the Conway Medical Center.

Wayne was born in Patterson, NJ, December 25, 1950, to the late Andrew & Helen (Grabowski) Van Der Plaats.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kelly Van Der Plaats, son Wayne Andrew Van Der Plaats, sister Paula Peters (Raymond), brother Andy Van Der Plaats (Julie, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his four-legged companion Shelby.

Wayne enjoyed the beach life and loved hanging out at his personal oasis (back yard pool).
