Whitney Leigh Warren, 37, It is with heavy hearts we announce Whitney’s passing. Born in Gastonia, NC, to Ronald “Ronnie” Warren and Debra Dellinger Warren on December 28, 1987, Whitney passed away tragically on March 11, 2025, in Myrtle Beach, SC.  She is survived by her father and beloved daughter, Kynleigh Grace Daniel, the brightest light in her life. 

 
Whitney’s life was not without struggles, but those who knew her saw glimpses of the love and kindness she had to give.  She faced many challenges, and though her journey was difficult, she leaves behind sweet memories and moments that will be cherished by those who loved her.

She is also survived by half-brother, Josh Warren and his daughters Taylor and Jillian, step-grandfather, Richard Johnson, uncle Sidney (Deborah) Warren and their children, Courtney, Elizabeth, Kasey and Madison and their families; aunt Patricia “Trish” Warren Elliott and her son, Jonathan “Bob,” and cousins Shana and Cody Warren; as well as her aunt, Sandy Dellinger Raby, and her sons, Jeff and Josh Raby, uncles Jimmy and  Larry (Helen) Dellinger and their children.

Whitney’s mother, Debra Dellinger Warren preceded her in death, as well as grandparents, Aubrey Warren and Joan Wardell Johnson, cousin, David Elliott, uncle, Berryman “Eddie” Warren, grandparents, John and Anne Dellinger, and uncle, Harold Dellinger and his wife, Vickie.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 16 in the fellowship hall of Unity Baptist Church, 482 N. Myrtle School Road in Gastonia between 1:30-3:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fyrebird Recovery, 4924 Hwy 17 Bypass Unit J, Myrtle Beach, SC  29588, who fought hard to keep her safe while living in Myrtle Beach the past few years, or to her daughter, Kynleigh Daniel, c/o her father, Chris Daniel, at 360 Bub Drive, Chesnee, SC 29323.
